Software
In recent years SCITEK activity in this area has been considerable and we have developed numerous software packages for IT, Business and Technical applications. Our customer base includes Aerospace and Defence companies who are renowned for requiring the highest standards in reliability and traceability in software applications. Our focus, whatever the application, is on extremely robust implementations and we have real-time software in service that is running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and rig control and data acquisition software that runs test rigs with 100% reliability for many thousands of hours. We have supplied user interfaces for complicated processes both for technical and business environments. We also have considerable expertise in applications where computers are used to control external hardware and have used this experience to provide operating system drivers for IT and gaming devices. Because of our technical background we also have in-house expertise to deal with signal processing, computational intelligence, and image analysis applications. We work with all the major programming languages and are happy for the customer to specify the development platform. The languages in which we specialise are Visual C++ and LabVIEW and we also have experience with the following: Visual Basic, Pascal, Fortran, Assembler, Matlab, Borland Delphi and Borland C++.
