Experimental Fluid Dynamics

We have considerable expertise in this area and provide an extensive range of services to suit the needs of our customers. Our in house measurement equipment ranges from the simple pressure and temperature devices, to the more sophisticated laser instrumentation (LDA and PDA) which measure flow velocities and particle sizing. Our instruments can be mounted on to automated traversing equipment which enables detailed flow mappings. We also have a range of camera and video equipment and pulsed lasers which are normally used to carry out flow visualisation studies.
